Manually Clearing Synchronization operations in Geobank.
In the event that synchronization operations have been created in Micromine Geobank and deleting them from within the software is not working, please follow the steps detailed below in order to remove the unwanted operations.
Looking at the example above, we have a sync operation that has been configured.
This operation will then synchronize data from a master (Server) database into the current (subsidiary) database.
If there is a reason why this operation needs to be deleted, this can be done from the file menu.
By removing the link, we can then delete this operation.
However, if this method does not work, or the deletion cannot be done, we can then manually remove the operation from within the Geobank database.
Please see the steps below:
First, we will have to connect to the master (Server) database via Microsoft SQL Server Management Tool.
Once connected we can then navigate to the synchronization tables.
Within these tables are all the data required for the synchronization tool to work.
To clear this operation, we simply need to delete the data from these tables which will clear the operation in Geobank.
The query above can be copied into the Microsoft SQL Server Manager Tool and execute.
This will clear all operations from Geobank, and new ones can then be created.
